Summary of Insurance Cover
You are able to access insurance benefits under an insurance policy Walkers has underwritten by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited ABN 78 003 191 035 AFS Licence No. 239545. The insurance provides cover against certain physical loss of or physical damage to or theft of your furniture and property which occurs during transit in Australia or the world (if selected) and/or certain physical loss of or physical damage to (but not theft of) your furniture and property which occurs during storage in Australia (if selected). It is not compulsory. Please read the attached Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) before choosing.
You can also apply for one or more of the additional cover extensions Optional Insurance Benefits that are available which will extend the relevant cover that you choose for certain events.
How to obtain access
You only get access to the relevant insurance options A and B special events cover after you have accepted our quote for storage and/or removal, completed and provided us with the Movesure Plus Valued Inventory and paid us the relevant amount(s) required for the cover you want to access.
You can obtain an indicative quote for the insurance by advising an estimated total value of your property without completing the Valued Inventory, but the actual cost will be based on the Total Declared Value in the Movesure Plus Valued Inventory that you provide to Walkers.
